Pickleball Club

The Star Valley Pickleball Club was established in June 2012 and has grown steadily to its current membership of 445 members.

The club began by converting two tennis courts into four pickleball courts. Just two years later, the remaining two tennis courts were converted into four additional pickleball courts, bringing the total to eight courts. Club members and volunteers played a vital role in this transformation by resurfacing the old tennis courts, painting the new court lines, and installing the nets.

As pickleball continued to gain popularity, it quickly became apparent that additional courts were needed. Working together with the Stewart family, the Board of Directors led the effort to build four more courts. The project was completed in 2018, increasing the total to 12 pickleball courts and providing expanded opportunities for both club members and the Star Valley community.

Today, the club continues to grow as interest in pickleball reaches new heights. To meet the increasing demand, the club added four more courts in 2024 and is adding two additional courts in 2026, bringing the total to 18 courts. This expansion ensures that both club members and the greater Star Valley community will continue to have a welcoming place to enjoy one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

From its beginnings with four converted courts to a premier 18-court facility, the Star Valley Pickleball Club has been built through the dedication, vision, and volunteer spirit of its members. The club remains committed to promoting the game of pickleball, fostering community, and providing outstanding facilities for players of all ages and skill levels.
